Born in the parlor of the Brodsky family home on 5101 Wynnefield Avenue, in Philadelphia, on February 26, 1920, Betty was the only daughter among three brothers, Isadore, Milton and Harold Brodsky. Passed away on Octoin Jupiter, Florida at the age of 98 1/2. Internment service will be held at Evergreen cemetery at 1:00PM also in Fort Lauderdale, FL. at 12:00PM with Reverend Kevin McGee officiating, and family visitation will commence at 10:00AM. Patricia was also very artistic and loved painting, sculpting, and creating jewelry. She and husband Hal travelled throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America via their Heritage West Indies sailboat and with their beloved Siamese cats in tow. Lauderdale and enjoyed beaching, boating, sailing, diving, and collecting shells and raising her 5 children to do the same. Patricia loved spending more than half of her life in Ft. Patricia is also survived by five grandchildren Natalie Crawley, Jeffrey Leaman, Melinda Dawson, Timothy Duong, and Tina Duong and eight great grandchildren. Patricia is preceded in death by both parents and Luther M. Sherron of Hollywood, FL and they lived happily together on an ocean-going sailboat until Hal’s passing in 2005. Patricia remarried in 1980 to Harold (Hal) L. They lived in Oak Harbor, Ohio until moving to Fort Lauderdale in 1963. She attended college, studying art, at Southern Seminary in Virginia where she met and married Luther M. She grew up in Oak Harbor attending public school. Patricia was born in Elmore, Ohio to John Leslie Stevens and Ruth Lloyd Stevens. Patricia Lewis Sherron of Fort Lauderdale passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
