Prepare correspondence, reports, and other supporting documents.Serve as development team point of contact and liaison between DD/CAO and development and marketing staff and assist in disseminating information to key museum staff.Coordinate and update exhibition and programmatic credit lines to ensure appropriate recognition for individual and corporate donors.Prepare decks for board presentations, donor visits, and community relations activities.Assist the DD/CAO in the coordination and oversight of board committees, including development steering committee and planned giving committee.Work closely with donors, committee members and volunteer leaders to support the DD/CAO and development and marketing teams.Work with DIS Department to process donor gifts and acknowledgement letters as needed.Track the receipt of pledges and pledge payments, working closely with the Senior Director of Development and the DIS Director.Work with DD/CAO to add all their actions, notes, meeting information of donor/prospective donor activities in donor database.Work with DD/CAO to develop internal communication protocols for donor and prospective donor related activity and related matters.Provide project support in the planning and coordination of the annual gala (“The pARTy”), and other fundraising events with a focus on revenue management and tracking, related interface with committee members and other departments to organize event, invitations, mailing lists, budgets, committee meetings and schedules.Assist DD/CAO to collect team information about external donor/prospective donor meetings/visits for purposes of tracking and analyzing development officer activity.Schedule appointments (internally and externally), coordinate meetings, and maintain daily and yearly planning calendars to facilitate timely preparation and follow through for all projects that fall under the realm of the DD/CAO.
